INDOOR POOL LOCATION, HOURS, FEES, & ACTIVITIES:

Redstone Aquatics Center - Bldg 3705 on Aerobee Rd.

Hours:

• Monday - Friday = 0500-1245 & 1500-1845
• Saturday = 0800-1145
• Sunday = Closed
• Holidays = Closed

Daily Fees:

• Active Duty = FREE
• Active Duty Dependent(s) = $2.00
• All other authorized users = $3.00
• Guests = $5.00 (one guest per visit)

Memberships:

• 30-visit punch card (good for 12 months from date of purchase)
• Active Duty dependents = $50.00
• All other authorized users = $75.00
• Annual Memberships (good for 12 months from date of purchase)
• Active Duty dependents = $120.00/individual or $150.00 family
• All other authorized users = $150.00/individual or $175.00 family

Indoor & Outdoor pool passes must be purchased separately. Guests may not purchase membership passes
Activities:

• Lap Swim = Monday - Friday = 0500-1245 & 1500-1845
• Lanes may be limited during 1500-1845 due to swim team usage as needed
• Water Aerobics
• Monday & Tuesday evening = 1645-1745
• Tuesday & Thursday morning = 0800-0900

Redstone Aquatic Center Rules:
AGE RESTRICTIONS:

• Youth must be at least 16 years old to sign themselves in.
• Children under the age of 16 are only authorized to use the facility if the child is participating in lap swimming.
• Children may not sit on the pool deck or in other fitness areas while their parent/guardian swims.
• Lap swimming is defined as: Those who are swimming for exercise or training purposes only in a continuous manner from one end of the pool to the other. Individuals who are unable to follow the lap swim rule may not use this facility.
• Contractors are eligible users for the Aquatic Center

OUTDOOR POOL LOCATIONS, HOURS, FEES, & ACTIVITIES:
Proper ID is required to use any of the following facilities

Pool #1 - Bldg. 3469 Honest John at the intersection of Vincent Rd. & Honest John - 256.876.6605
Hours:

• Sunday = 1300-1800
• Monday thru Friday = 1100-1900
• Saturday = 0900-1900

Pool #2 - Bldg. 1501 Weeden Mtn. Rd. (next to DFMWR Office)
CLOSED this Season... Please visit us at our new beautiful indoor pool located at 3705 Aerobee Rd.

Pool #3 - Bldg. 126 Goss Rd. - 256.876.6713
Hours:

• Sunday = 1300-1800
• Monday thru Saturday = 1100-1900

Daily Fees:

• Active Duty = Free
• Active Duty Dependent(s) = $2.00
• All other authorized users = $3.00
• Guests = $5.00 (one guest per visit/Authorized User)

Memberships: Passes good for Outdoor Pools ONLY

• Active Duty Dependent(s) = $30.00/individual or $50.00/family
• All other authorized users = $60.00/individual or $100.00/family

The 30-Visit Punch Cards that are ONLY sold at the Indoor Pool are accepted at the Outdoor Pools
Outdoor pool passes must be purchased separately
Guests may not purchase membership passes

NOTES:
Proper ID is required at all locations each visit for every Authorized User.
'Guests' must be accompanied by an Authorized User at all times
Children 12 years old and under must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian of at least 18 years of age
Children of kindergarten age and older are required to use gender appropriate showers and bathrooms.

SWIM LESSONS: Registration Location, Hours, Fees, & Things to know:
Proper ID is required in order to register for swim lessons
REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE & is limited to a maximum of 2 sessions per student to allow others the opportunity to learn to swim

Registration Location: Pool 3 - 126 Goss Rd.
Registration Hours:
0900-1300 - Monday thru Friday
13-24 May for Active Duty
15-24 May for all other Authorized Users
After 24 May you may register between the hours of 8:00 and 1:00 Monday thru Friday at Pool 3.
Registration Fees: $40 for 8 forty-five minute lessons - NO REFUNDS.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OUR SWIM LESSONS:
You may ONLY register YOUR children ages 4 & above.
We do not offer make up classes so we do everything in our control to NOT cancel classes.
Parents are asked to stay on the premises during swimming lessons in case of an emergency
The first day is an assessment day to make sure your child is in the appropriate skill level class.

SWIM LESSON SESSIONS & TIMES:
Levels 1 thru 3 are offered at either 9:00 or 10:00
Levels 4 thru 6 are offered at 8:00
Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday.
Exceptions:
Session 1 week 1: Tuesday thru Thursday
Session 1 week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Session 3 week 1: Monday thru Friday
Session 3 week 2: Monday thru Wednesday
Session 1: 28 May thru 7 June
Session 2: 10 - 21 June
Session 3: 24 June thru 3 July
Session 4: 8 thru 19 July
Session 5: 22 July thru 2 Aug
