Outdoor Recreation provides diverse opportunities through the year for our customers. These activities include opportunities to participate in and enjoy the great outdoors. With the warm Alabama weather, individuals can indulge in personalized skeet lessons, camping, fishing, hunting, canoeing, and enjoying other outdoor adventures!!

Outdoor Recreation continues to strive to not only improve our programming, but our facilities as well. The planned parking lot is vital to our activity enhancement, coinciding with the development of our new main office. We also have several upgrades planned for the trap and skeet fields.

Outdoor Recreation is pleased to announce the opening of their newest location, building #5139. This new facility houses Equipment Rental, Hunting/Fishing Operations, a private conference room, ladies' and mens' locker rooms, and management offices. Our old location has become a general store, selling special hunting/fishing items, worms, crickets, camouflage, etc.

General Store Located at #5138 is now a new general store. Currently, products carried are fishing poles, lures, red worms and wigglers, crickets, and ice. This general store will be adding additional items such as edible crickets, Army logoed items, smoking and grilling supplies, RV supplies, and lots more.

Our Trap and Skeet Range is open for the entire Redstone Community daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. It's located at Outdoor Recreation, building 5139 Sportsman Drive. We've also got the lowest price in North Alabama --- $4/round (25 birds). For information on how to bring your shotgun on post call us at 256-876-4868 or 256-876-6854.
