Your Links At Redstone Golf Course is getting bigger, better and improving all the time!! We are gearing up to install the new Links at Redstone Teaching and Fitting center on the driving range. This new building will keep all the most up to date Fitting Equipment and Video at your finger tips. With the Launch Monitor and new Ping In-flight fitting software we stay on the cutting edge of technology!! Taking a Video Lesson from new Director of Instruction Dave Atnip or Jon Samuelson has now never been easier!!
FROM THE MANAGER
Hello everyone and I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year and had a Merry Christmas. January already and we are still playing a lot of golf with more to come. Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for being the BCS Champions' in 2011; or is it 2012? I get so confused. Anyway, the Golf Shop will have Championship shirts, caps, and some Winter Wear in the next few days. Get here early to get the best selections.
Just want to keep you up to date on some of the things going on here at the Links at Redstone, so far the weather has been much nicer to us this year than the last couple let's hope that trend continues. And a big Congratulations to Alabama on another National Championship. By the way the Oregon Ducks won the Rose Bowl for the second time in 95 years, that is if you were wondering. The Alabama National Championship wear will be arrive in the next couple of days. I have Tee shirts, Polo Shirts and some Winter wear too, so keep an eye out for it to get the best selections. I will send out another email as soon as they get here.
This Saturday is the Snow Blower Scramble and at this time we are still expecting to play, that may change due to weather but as of right now, get your cart covers and heaters ready Winter golf here we come. On February 11th you loving couples have the Valentine's Day couples event, Chocolates and flowers for all the ladies. Pair up with your significant other and be ready to play. Other than that we are open in the shop and Grille everyday and looking forward to serving you .
We also want to let you know about the upcoming event in February. On February the 11th at 10 AM we will be hosting the Valentine Couples tournament. Each couple will be receiving Chocolates and Flowers just for coming out and having a good time. It's a great way to get to know each other better "as if you don't know by now". Sign-up early as the field will be limited.
Remember, the Weeden Mountain Grill is open every day for Lunch with Breakfast being served on the weekends. As for the golf shop, many new clubs are being introduced by the likes of Taylor Made, Cleveland and Adams to name just a few. Look for them in the shop soon. For you bargin hunters, continue to check out the sales in the shop. Our used club inventory is very good right now but they don't last long so check them out soon. We look forward to an early Spring.
