Ladies and Gentlemen

It's time to get really excited! No the circus isn't coming to town, but we are about to open the new Holes and turn it into a 36 hole complex that we have been working toward for three years! The Links at Redstone will kick things off with the Grand Opening Tournament and Show. Yes I said Show! We will not only dedicate the courses but we will also watch world famous golf trick shot artist, Chuck "the Hit Man" Hiter, do his amazing show. Jack and Arnie have both said that it was the "best they had ever seen." You can check him out at www.chuckthehitman.com it's worth the time to see. I can't wait to see him do his show.

Major General Myles will dedicate the course and then we'll be off to a shot gun scramble. During the tournament, don't be afraid of getting hungry, Chick fil-a will be providing sandwiches, Papa John's will be bringing Pizza around the course and Supreme Beverages will be providing Beer; you know we never run out of beer at The Links of Redstone Events.

We will flight the Tournament after the round with, what I expect, will be 3 flights on each course. While we're doing that, you will have another chance to fill up on refreshments and food as ROCC Executive Chef, Ben Howard, will be serving his famous and award winning Brisket, Ribs and Chicken right off the grille!

Now you're saying to yourself, "Jon, that's still a lot for a tournament"! Well, I didn't tell you about the Commemorative Door Prizes (which I know I'm excited about). It's a Gift Box from Ahead with a cap, with the two new logos for The Warrior and The Patriot courses; plus, the Links at Redstone logo! Also in the box is the Ball marker and Divot tool with the new course logos on them. Think I'm done, don't you? Not me, while you're out on the course playing the Ahead Rep., Joey Dixon, will be sewing your name on the Cap! Now that sounds like a Gift to remember!

So let's get all this Straight. The day will go like this.

1. 7:00 AM Continental Breakfast
2. 8:00 AM Chuck The Hit man Trick shot show 9:00 AM Ceremonial Tee shots (Not telling who will hit them but one will be a Warrior and one will be a Patriot).
3. 10:00 AM Golfer Warm up
4. 10:30 AM Shotgun Start.
5. 11:00 fun
6. 11:30 Fun
7. 12:00 Fun Fun Fun Fun
8. 12:30 you get the idea 36 hole Prizes (A contest on every hole) Award Winning Bar B Q Flighted Winners Wise Cracks from me. And then go on home.

From then on, we will be 36 holes of great golf. Look forward to a year of 18 holes always open for regular play!

This new building will keep all the most up to date Fitting Equipment and Video at your finger tips. With the Launch Monitor and new Ping In-flight fitting software we stay on the cutting edge of technology!! Taking a Video Lesson from new Director of Instruction Dave Atnip or Jon Samuelson has now never been easier!!

Newly renovated locker rooms and restrooms!! Lockers are available for rent thru the golf shop. .

We have 9 new holes under construction !!!

Soon we will be the best new course in the Army.
