Directions
I-565 exit 19, south on to S. Memorial Pky (about 3 mi). Keep right on ramp to Martin road (1.6 mi). This is Gate 1 - the only gate to enter for RVs, keep right, stop for inspection. Keep RIGHT to stay on Martin Rd SW 1.5 mi. Bear RIGHT (North-West) onto Ramp 0.2 mi Patton Rd North. NOTE: you will see the sign to the Rec center, where to sign in. Best to park RV first, register later. Bear RIGHT (North) onto Patton Rd SW 2.1 mi. Turn LEFT (West) onto Aerobee Rd 0.5 mi. Bear RIGHT (North) onto Vincent Dr 0.8 mi. Turn LEFT (West) onto Spartan Dr. 0.2 mi. Turn RIGHT (West) onto Nike St SW 0.3 mi. campground on right.

NOTE - Before making a reservation, please ensure you have the ability to access Redstone Arsenal in order to use this facility. Currently, we have individuals requesting a reservation but are unable to access base.

Directions from I-65: Take I-565 take exit 14 for Research Park Blvd; Keep right at the fork to continue toward Rideout Rd and merge onto Rideout Rd; be inspected at gate; U-turn where directed by gate guard; merge onto Goss Road; proceed 1.9 miles to Vincent Drive, turn right; after 1st traffic light turn right on Spartan Drive; turn right on Nike Street, RV Park is on the right; spaces 1-7 are pull-throughs from Nike Street and 8-14 must turn into the drive before space #1. Bathhouse is next to space #8. CAUTION: there is construction going on at present time.

Directions to Outdoor Recreation: I-565 to Jordan Lane exit. Go south on Jordan Lane (aka Patton Road) to gate 10 (everyday 0500 to 2400). Once on post at third traffic light turn left, into the woods, on Sportsman Drive.

Directions to Campground: I-565 to Jordan Lane exit. Go south on Jordan Lane (aka Patton Road) to gate 10 (everyday 0500 to 2400). Follow Patton Road approximately 7 miles to stop sign at Buxton Road. Turn right on Buxton Road, go 2.5 miles to Shields Road, turn left. Shields Road takes you to the Tennessee River and the campground. The northwest corner of Buxton and Shields is the location of the dump station.
