RV Sites & Camping

The Army's Leisure Travel services and Outdoor Recreation programs intend to develop a cooperative relationship with private campgrounds and RV sites at destinations that are not convenient to a military facility. These privately owned and operated campgrounds and RV sites can be booked in advance via local Information, Ticket & Reservation (ITR) and/or Outdoor Recreation offices to supplement the system of military campgrounds and RV sites. We expect the number of commercial vendors and available destinations to grow in the months and years ahead. Check back from time-to-time as this program grows and facilities are added.

Redstone Arsenal Campground Pricing

Twelve dollars year round.

Located along the Tennessee River on Shields Road. Each site is equipped with water and electricity. A Sewage dump station is located on the northwest corner of Buxton and Shields Rd. You must register for these at Outdoor Recreation Bldg 5129 Sportsman Drive.

NOTE - Before making a reservation, please ensure you have the ability to access Redstone Arsenal in order to use this facility. Currently, we have individuals requesting a reservation but are unable to access base.
