"Hotel Redstone" Redstone Lodging front desk is open 24 hours a day to serve our guests. Our housekeeping services provide: daily trash removal, towel replacement,cleaning of the room, and linen exchange. Long term guests (in excess of 30 days) have a bi-weekly linen exchange schedule.
Redstone Lodging consists of 144 guest rooms located in 21 buildings.
Building 244 has a total of nineteen rooms. Fifteen rooms which are classified as (GHSS & GHSN) are equipped with two queen size beds and are equipped to Army Lodging standards. The four end corner rooms are classified as (GHGK) and they also have two queen size beds plus kitchenettes that allow guests to cook and are equipped to Army Lodging standards.
Buildings 131,133,135 also known as the Gudaitis Complex, has a total of 62 rooms and are Redstone Lodging's Visitor's Officer's Quarters (VOQ) and VOQ suites (VOQA). There are 48 (VOQ's) and 14 (VOQA's). The VOQ's has one queen size bed as well as amenities to Army Lodging standards. Half of these room rooms (24) have mini-kitchenettes. The 14 VOQA's are two room suites and have kitchens allowing Lodging's transient guest to cook their meals. Buildings 131 and 133 each have four VOQA suites and building 135 has six. Two of the lower level VOQA suites in building 133 are designated accessible for those guests who are physically challenged.
Located in the 1400 area are 47 one-bedroom units with separate study room designed for an extended stay guest (VOQI). These rooms are equipped with queen size bed, full kitchen with cookware for meal preparation, dining room, study room and living room as well as other amenities to Army Lodging standards.
Sharing the 1400 area are 16 two-bedroom units designed for extended stay guests or families. These GHSP units are pet friendly rooms. These rooms are equipped with two queen size beds, queen size sleeper sofa, full kitchen with cookware for meal preparation, dining room, and living room as well as other amenities to Army Lodging standards.
Dishware, silverware/cooking utensils, pots/pans, as well as dish detergent, are provided in each room with kitchen/kitchenettes for patron convenience. Roll-a-ways and cribs are available at the patron's request. TV cable service are provided in each room
High Speed Internet service (HSI) is available in each room, providing unlimited use at no cost to the patron. More importantly, this service provides access for the TDY students through the internet for study/research materials, and allows an alternate means of communication to family members.
