  • Community-based programming and partnerships with other Family and MWR partners and local schools
  • Partnerships with 4-H Clubs
  • Partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs

The U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center Child and Youth Services created Passport initiative as a result of the need to fulfill the Office of the Secretary of Defense's commitment to youth and support of the goals of America's Promise. The Overall Objectives of the Promise Passport Action Plan are to:

  • Develop awareness in youth and teens of needs of the community. Fulfill recognized needs for community service.
  • Develop positive attitudes toward cooperation and sharing.
  • Instill self esteem in children and teens.
  • Develop marketable skills for the future workplace.
  • Develop a sense of responsibility to a commitment. Encourage partnerships on the military installation and with the community at large.
  • Promote early marketing to acquaint youth and families with the volunteer programs and offer opportunities for participation to youth living on post.
  • Recognize the contributions of youth and teens.

We also participate in the Army partnership with USDA, and cooperate with Madison County 4-H. This partnership also provides opportunities and resources for our youth programs.
