2 more new Child Development Centers to accomodate your needs!
With the monumental growth on Redstone Arsenal, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation knew that the need for additional child care space was a necessity, as well as, a priority. A consideration was a location that could be immediately accessible to team members working on the southern portion of the installation, as result as, providing a additional option for parents on the waiting list. As a result, the Mills Road Child Development Center came into fruition. Accommodating up to 184 children, at full capacity, this program provides the most desirable space for infants through kindergarteners, including the Strong Beginnings Pre-Kindergarten Program. One facility is a 60 space annex while the other is a 124 space center.
