CHILDWISE

1413 Nike Street

ChildWise is an outreach program of Child and Youth Services that offers support and information to expectant parents and families with children from newborn to five years of age. This free of charge voluntary participation program assists families in many ways that friends and family often do when you're back home. Through a variety of programs, ChildWise will help you learn to cope with stress, isolation, and the everyday demands of parenthood. Getting involved in the program can also help you to develop new friendships and help you feel more at home in the military community. Eligible participants include active duty and retired military, Department of Defense civilians and DOD contractors. For more information call (256) 876-2798 or come and visit us at 1413 Nike Street. Home Visits are conducted by an Outreach Program Specialist from Army Community Services to assist families with resources and referrals in the local surrounding area.
