AFAP is one of the Army's most effective tools to manage change and improve the well-being of all who work for and support the US Army.
Issues are solicited from Team Redstone regarding ideas to improve the Army's standard of living. Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves, retirees, DA civilians, and family members are all represented during the annual AFAP Conference. Issues unable to be resolved at the local level are forwarded to the Army Materiel Command AFAP Conference, with the possibility of then being forwarded to the Department of the Army AFAP Conference.
There are several ways you can become involved in the local AFAP process:
Submit an issue
Become a delegate
Be a Conference volunteer
Encourage others to get involved
AFAP contributes to readiness and retention by having the total Army family actively involved in making the Army a better place to live and work.
